Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically capable Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, configuration, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, with a focus on power systems and structured cabling. The ideal candidate will have a strong hands-on experience in mechanical mounting, conduit and cable routing, and safe termination practices. You will be responsible for handling heavy equipment, ensuring secure installation onto racks and Uni strut framing, and managing complex cable systems.

 

In this position, you will execute precise cable management and labeling, adhering to project standards, and ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. The role requires assembling and disassembling components into pre-configured units for deployment and involves general rack-and-stack work, including disassembly at project completion. Your contribution will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and performance of our systems.

Duties

• Mounting and securing equipment onto racks and Uni strut framing.
• Routing and dressing DC cabling (clean runs with proper support).
• Termination of power and signal cables (DC lugs, Cat6, where needed).
• Cable management and labeling to project standards.
• General rack-and-stack work including disassembly at project close.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mechanical mounting, conduit and cable routing, and safe termination practices.
• Capability to handle and maneuver heavy equipment, often up to 50+ pounds.
• Knowledge of power systems, structured cable, and working with Unistrut framing is required.
• Assembling and disassembly experience in components into pre-configured units for deployment.
