Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspection clerk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of products and materials to ensure compliance with established quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of quality control processes and the ability to utilize various measuring tools and techniques. The Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our production processes and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality audits to assess compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other precision measuring tools, such as micrometers, to evaluate product specifications.
• Collect and analyze data related to product quality and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities.
• Assist in the fabrication process by providing feedback on quality issues and potential improvements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing overall product quality.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices, including QA/QC methodologies.
• Proficiency in conducting quality audits and inspections using various measurement tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and requirements for quality management systems.
• Excellent data collection and analysis skills, with attention to detail in reporting findings.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
