Position Summary
We are seeking an Equipment Technician 1 to support our manufacturing operations in Wilmer, TX. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with a mechanical or electrical aptitude who are eager to learn and grow within a dynamic, high-tech environment. The technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of automated production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.

Repair and replace parts such as motors, belts, sensors, valves, and wiring.

Maintain and service machinery, including conveyors, lamination units, cutting tools, and packaging systems.

Document maintenance work through detailed logs and reports.

Assist with equipment installations, testing, and commissioning.

Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.

Work alongside senior technicians to implement equipment upgrades and improvements.

Comply with all safety policies and use PPE.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

0–2 years of experience in equipment maintenance or similar technical roles.

Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Familiarity with industrial components such as motors, pumps, PLCs, and sensors.

Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments (e.g., multimeters, calipers).

Strong communication skills and the ability to follow technical instructions.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Exposure to solar panel manufacturing or equipment, such as soldering and lamination machines.

Knowledge of industrial robotics and machine control systems.
Physical Requirements
