Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to hotel recipes and standards.
  • Assist in menu planning and recipe development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and local flavors.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
  • Follow food safety regulations and hotel policies to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in managing kitchen staff during peak service times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred.
  • Previous experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, or similar setting.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
